2023 NAIA Swimming Championships Recap

The University of Saint Mary sent four swimmers to the 2023 NAIA Swim and Dive Championships. 

Blake Jorgens made it through prelims in the 50yd Freestyle race with a time of 21.05 seconds, this time punched his ticket to the finals event later that same day. Jorgens also broke his previous school record in the 100yd Freestyle, his time of 64.34 seconds earned him 19th place. Ayla Pierce qualified for the finals in the 100yd Fly race. In the finals race, Pierce took 12th place, getting the Spires their first team points on the women’s side. This concluded the swimming season, which saw multiple school records broken and the highest finish at the KCAC meet for both teams.
