Weather permitting, crews will begin the final portion of the K-7/Eisenhower Rd. intersection improvement project on Mon., April 3. Motorists should expect delays – there will be periodic short term lane restrictions/closures as pavement mill and overlay work progresses. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the week, with permanent pavement markings applied to the new pavement. Site clean-up and restoration will then commence.

Drivers are advised to utilize K-5 to the east and DeSoto Rd./Shrine Park Rd. to the west as alternate routes to avoid the intersection.

For more information, call the Lansing Public Works Dept. at 913-727-2400 or email publicworks@lansingks.org.
