LANSING’S TRASH SERVICE ONLINE REPORTING TOOL

The city of Lansing has created an online tool so residents can report trash/recycling/yard waste collection problems 24/7.The online form can be accessed here and is also available through a link at the top of the city of Lansing website, www.lansingks.org. Over time, City staff can collect data to determine what areas of the City are experiencing collection problems as well as other service shortcomings.“We are hopeful this data can help Waste Management iron out some of the problems we’ve experienced in the past,” said City Administrator Tim Vandall. “We also think we can get a better idea of the magnitude of problems since residents will be able to make reports at any time, day or night. Waste Management representatives will also have access to these reports immediately and can respond accordingly.”For more information, call 913-727-2487 during regular business hours.
