With Phase I underway on the Lakeside Park bank restoration project, part of Lakeside Drive in McPherson will close beginning Monday, Dec. 19, 2022.

The closure is necessary for safety and to make room for materials/equipment needed for the project.

The closure will affect East Lakeside Drive from Eickbush Bridge south to the Rotary Garden. The closure will not keep traffic from moving through the park on West Lakeside Drive. Those wishing to view the Lights from the Heartland display still will able to do so.

Questions or concerns can be directed to the Public Works Department at 620-245-2535 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or email Public Works Director Jeff Woodward at jeffw@mcpcity.com
