(RV) Men’s Lacrosse falls to (2) Indiana Tech 17-6

No. 2 Indiana Tech limited Men’s Lacrosse offensively on Thursday night en route to a 17-6 win.

(RV) Benedictine scored three goals through the first three quarters before finding the back of the net three times in the fourth quarter. 

Indiana Tech jumped out to a 5-1 lead after the first quarter. They scored the first two goals of the game before Benedictine’s first goal from Paul Gordon made it 2-1.

Jordan Rodriguez scored the Ravens second-quarter goal and Joey Calabria scored the Ravens third-quarter goal off an assist from Zachary Torres.

Gordon, Davis McMullen, and Joseph Gianchi scored the final three goals of the game for the Ravens in the fourth quarter.

Benedictine won 17 of 26 face-offs with Bianchi winning 11 and Mac Postel Jr. winning 5. 

Carson Huerter and Gordon led the Ravens with three caused turnovers each while Jacob Clipperton finished with 12 saves in goal for the Ravens. 

The Ravens remain on the road with one more game on their trip, taking on (6) Siena Heights in Adrian, Mich., on Saturday.
