93 percent of applicants to Benedictine College were admitted for fall 2018

At Benedictine College, 98 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Atchison enrolled 2,124 students in fall 2018, including 2,057 in undergraduate and 67 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

20 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kansas, and 79 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 2,444 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 25 percent enrolled.
