61 percent of applicants to the University of Saint Mary were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Saint Mary, 82 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Leavenworth enrolled 1,254 students in fall 2018, including 732 in undergraduate and 522 in graduate programs, data shows. 19.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

51 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kansas, and 49 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (49 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 61 percent of the 996 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 22 percent enrolled.
