Cost of college went up for all students at Benedictine College

Tuition and fees rose 3.7 percent for 2018-19 at Benedictine College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kansas students paid $29,530 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,050 more than the $28,480 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 438 students received grants or scholarships totaling $8.2 million and 251 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,124), 1,884 students used grants or scholarships totaling $32.4 million, and 1,133 students took out $7.6 million in federal student loans.
