On Friday, Jan. 31, former Basehor-Linwood High School standout Chase Torkelson’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 17-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Henderson State Reddies.

The game took place at Majestic Park. This was their first matchup against the Reddies this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. at Majestic Park against Ouachita Baptist Tigers.
