On Tuesday, March 18, former Basehor-Linwood High School standout Chase Torkelson’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Fort Hays State Tigers.

The game took place at Falley Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 4 p.m. at Falley Field against Missouri Western Griffons.
